The groundbreaking Senhoa Foundation is launching their next women’s and first ever men’sjewelry collection designed by Stylist and Creative Director, Julie Ragolia, on November 30th, 2012. Senhoa provides assistance, education, training and opportunities to women and girls who are survivors of sexual exploitation in Cambodia. Survivor artisans individually handcraft every piece of Senhoa jewelry with 100 percent of the sales funding Senhoa initiatives. The programs they execute give women and girls income opportunities, life skills and platforms of support that protect them from being vulnerable in the current climate of modern slavery – a hot button issue around the globe. “Our passion is to create opportunities for survivor artisans to earn an income, share their stories and raise awareness against modern slavery. The jewelry is another form of advocacy for this issue,” saysLisa T.D. NguyenFounder of Senhoa.  Nguyen went on to say, “We have enjoyed this collaboration with Julie immensely. We are especially excited about the men’s range and love her creative direction. Julie’s design approach will be key to expanding Senhoa’s retail presence and open Senhoa up to a whole new market.”

To purchase the new Senhoa collection designed by Julie Ragolia, go to http://www.senhoa.com/julieragolia, beginning November 30th, 2012. Retail prices range from $49 to $169.

Coco Rocha may only be 23 years old, but the Canadian supermodel certainly isn’t twiddling her thumbs between runway appearances and photo shoots. Together with Senhoa, a California-based nonprofit that supports victims of human trafficking through income-generating opportunities and programs for social integration, Rocha has developed a collection of seven jewelry pieces, handcrafted by the same women Senhoa is seeking to rehabilitate and empower.
