A committee of the House is accusing two officials of the Taekwondo Association of human trafficking and obtaining money through fraudulent means.

The Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare wants the government to investigate George Mureu (vice chairman) and George Wesonga (Secretary General) of human trafficking through the sport and action taken against them.

The committee also wants the government to constitute a commission of inquiry to investigate human trafficking through sports.

The committee further wants the two barred from participating in any affairs of taekwondo and any other sporting federation in the country for abuse of office.
