Human trafficking is a problem happening more than people realize.

Law enforcement officials say victims of human trafficking are often hidden in plain sight, voiceless and scared.

They are forced into prostitution and involuntary labor.

In Texas, DPS officials have started a program that trains officers to identify children in danger during traffic stops, including human trafficking.

Since 2010, they’ve made 20 criminal arrests and recovered 62 missing or exploited children.

An anti-trafficking group recently gave Arkansas an “F” for it’s efforts to prevent theses crimes.

Pulaski County Sheriff Doc Holladay says it happens daily.
