RIVERSIDE: Training set to combat teen trafficking

In Human Trafficking on September 15, 2012 at 2:33 pm

Million Kids is a local non profit organization that has developed a program called “The Love Trap, ”

is designed to teach how teens are identified by predators as possible prey and the methods predators use to lure in vulnerable kids.

It is important that teens, parents and grandparents understand how human trafficking happens in our communities and how to protect kids from being trafficked. Education is the key to protection.

Million Kids has worked with human trafficking for many years in the U.S. and South East Asia. It serves on the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Anti Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT).

The group invites volunteers and supporters to be trained as presenters to take this message to every young person and parent in America. “The Love Trap” program is also available on a appointment basis for civic leaders, pastors and clergy, government employees, corporations and professional and civic organizations.
